No Paypal on Synthetek :(

Hey BigA, I went to purchase some products from Synthetek, but they no longer accept Paypal. I'd use the credit card method except that it is not secure (page is not encrypted). Are you affiliated with them at all? What kind of fraudulent transactions happened to make them stop using Paypal. I thought Paypal was very secure.

I love the results I have received from their products, and I wish there was a direct supplier here in the states so that it could be shipped faster.

The credit card ordering is secure - uses tunnelling and it's thir own server once it reaches them.

Paypal are sc@mmers. I lost thousands with them many ways. Everywhere I turn people are scammed by them. Surprised you never heard .

With Synthetek, people would order through PayPal using fake credit cards. That would not become apparent to PayPal until one or two weeks later. So then PayPal would pull the money back out of Synthetek's bank account!
Never mind that Synthetek shipped the orders out. PayPal offers sellers zero protection, and it makes sure that it doesn't lose any $ by pulling money out of the sellers real life bank account!

Paypal are total ripoff merchants I agree with Big A, I refuse to use them

Wow, I really had no idea that kind of thing was happening with them. I understand now why Synthetek will not use them anymore. I only use Paypal as a way for clients to pay quickly via credit card if they need to when paying for graphic design services, otherwise I can't accept credit cards.

I had never heard this either. I know ebay uses paypal and I've never known anyone to have a problem with them on that site. They are Big Money so maybe that is why no problems with them???

Big A, I ordered Syntherol from the site, but still waiting for a confirmation via email to confirm the transaction. It has been 3 days now. I don't want to resubmit the order for fear it will double charge me.

Check your spam box. If you use AOL, yahoo, msn, etc, most likely that's where it ended.

I checked out those sites against Paypal. Wow, that is really something. I'm unfortunately stuck in having to use them because one company I freelance graphic design for pays via Paypal. I'll keep an eye on my account and won't keep any money in there.
