This article shows major injection sites for subcutaneous and IM injections. The ventrogluteal site looks hard to reach if you are doing the injection yourself. When I do glutes, I am in that general area, although I come at it from the side instead of the rear like the pics show in this article. My doc showed me how to do it.

i have been searching alot and everything ive found says its easier i think they have the wrong pics on the ventrogluteal i think they are the same as the dorso i could be wrong but i think i found it and it seems alot easier then glutes for me as im not that flexible.

Well, if you can reach that site, it is supposed to be the best place to inject because there are no major nerves or major blood vessels there.

Read the article I posted, there's pictures in there. It's too hard to explain in words, probably because I don't know the right words for the Latin medical terms used. Roughly, it is the back upper side of your glute cheek, I think.

You have to be a member of that board to view that link so I couldn't read it, but yes, the vg site is around there. IMO, the diagrams seem to explain it better than the photos. Generally, you can enter that area from the back or the side.
good luck bro, let us know how it works out for you. I've heard mixed reviews about it, most like it but some complain it's hard to find. I think once you get it down it would be a great spot to inject especially if you're rotating a lot and look for another site to add into the rotation
