Hey fellas, for all those who complete or diet for >4weeks, how do you eat after you are done. Do you splurge, keep clean, middle ground??? Personally, I eat like CRAP for about 2 weeks. I mean everything!!!! Then I kind of clean up and eat a regular BB diet (for leanish gains) for about 90% of the year until contest time again. Just wondering what everyone else does???

I have always ate like a pig after a contest and bloated really uncomfortably, this time round I am going to try and stay away from that as it just places too much stress on the body putting on 30lbs in 2 weeks

30# in 2 weeks  No wonder you don't feel good. I usually put on about 10# and then slowly increase to off season weight, but I'm with you, I eat until I am stufed and it is all JUNK!!!

I added 36lbs in 3 weeks last year, then again I do use a lot of gear for a week after a show to maximise the calories I am eating in that period

I eat like a pig for 2 days then go back to a modified diet for a while. I managed to stay within 10 lbs of my contest weight last summer for 6 weeks after my shows were completed.
I have gone from 200 to 265 in 5 months with 2 1/2 more to go to get to 290 or as close as I can get before going back into precontest mode.

this year i had 1 week to splurge
then i went on a mini diet loaded with high days
thats the time when your body is most anabolic

Its been years but I would eat bannana pancakes and pictures of coke for about
a week - it sounds weird now but I remember towards the end of the diet - carbs
so low I'd be seeing spots - thats all I could think about - someone would ask me
a question and I'd answer "bannana pancakes and coke". I read someware thats
what Sergio Oliva would do and it stuck w/me. (I'm dating myself - half you guys
probably dont even know who Sergio is)

I will not have the luxury to splurge this coming off season.
Shows begin again next July, so the bulk period is seriously curtailed this coming winter. I will probably stay in the 250's this coming offseason instead of being in the high 270's... oh well.
