alcohol and being on cycle

I just started a cycle a few days ago and also just got back to school. On previous cycles i havent drank at all but now I am away at school and i normally drink once during the week, normally thursdays at my rugby mixers. I dont want it to affect my cycle at all so im not drinking as much as a i did last semester (2-3 times a week). Do you guys think that drinking once a week is going to affect my cycle in any drastic way or is it ok to go out and have one night a week to have 8-10 drinks? or should i just say fuck it and not drink at all and wait till the cycle is over?

it's definitely going to affect your cycle for a lot of reasons, a few of them being... you are going to be adding a lot of empty calories with 8 -10 drinks. You're going to risk damaging your liver if you are on any orals. Time spent drinking and recovering from drinking will often wreck havoc with training and eating regimens that you should stay true to as best you can.

I'm sure others can add to this

Put the stake in the ground and decide what you want.
If you are going to get blasted once a week then stop wasting your money on cycles you can't execute 100%....It's hard on the body and hard on the wallet....

i know it hard dog but you gotta stick it out
i go out once or twice a month and i make a promise to myself to still get in my protein
even if you cant eat get down some shakes you cant let a day go to waste

sounds good, i normally bring out a shake on those nights and make sure i still get up the next day and stick to my diet/calorie intake, and i dont work out on that day i would drink. Im going to just stick it out and not drink, i dont even drink when im home from school. No desire and it just gets in the way of training. Like i said before i havent drank on any past cycle so it hasnt been a waste of money or time and im just going to say fuck it and not drink. Thanks for your responses

As others have said, it is quite an investment and challenge. Alot of AAS users use to set them selves apart from the crowd. I don't know, it just seems like a trap. Who knows, you might say the wrong thing to somebody and the next thing you know the campus (or worse the real) police are at your door asking what is in your fridge. I know you respect you body because of the steps you are taking to improve it. Just look at this as the next step.

You don't necessarily have to associate the no-drinking with your cycle when trying to explain why you won't go drinking. Just say that you're trying to keep yourself fit, and drinking interferes with that so you don't do it. Most people will respect you for making the choice and will often help you keep it.
