New Cycle and Gyno...

I had gyno surgery back in December and I'm getting ready to start a new cycle. I just talked to my surgeon to make sure he removed the gland so it wouldn't come back. Well he said they removed 98% of it but they had to leave a slit behind my nipple so that it didn't collapse. He said he has never seen the gyno come back in the 29 years he's been a surgeon, but I didn't ask him if it would come back if I did a cycle. Do you guys think I should take nolva with my cycle, or do you think there isn't a chance the gyno will come back?

Why don't you call him? Confidentiality! Or take his word for it and call him a liar if you do. Do you really think if all the people out here say you won't get it that it means you won't? I know, you will run nov so your other nipple will not get gyno.

I would definately use some kind of anti-e. That shit is too expensive and uncomfortable to have done over and over. Call your doc. He should talk to you about it. He has regulations on confidentiality as well like GW said.

i would say that it is still possible for it to happen bro....but it depends on what it is exactly that he left in there.....definately run a anti-e like everyone else said....cause i know you dont wanna go under the knife again lol!

It's always a good idea to run an anti-e, even if there was no possibility of getting gyno. Gyno is only one side effect of too much estrogen. You want to block it for everything else it does too, not mention that the fat distribution it causes doesn't only affect the breast area.

Bump TonyK's right, Gyno is only one of the side effects although probably the nastiest we all fear the most... you should get yourself something to either run or at least have on hand depending on what you're running. How was the surgery? How long did it take you to recover from it and start training again? Good luck bro and keep us posted.

The surgery only lasted about 45 minutes. I had to take two weeks for recovery, then I could start lifting again. While I was recovering it wasn't to painful but course i had good medication.
