You know, I got the mass stack for Christmas from my younger brother. I must say I like the product, the taste is good for the creatines and they have the right blend of suppliments that are supported by research. I find them a bit pricey though. And doing a little reading and looking at the ingredients I have decided to get the raw materials which should give me about the same effect. Lets take Cellmass-you have your post workout creatine, also containing glutamine to blunt the flow of cortisol. I don't know how much it sells for, I saw on line it was about $37 a bottle containing 40 servings. I image in GNC it goes for about $50+. Well I went and bought 200 servings of creatine ethly ester for $19 and 200 capsules of glutamine for $10. Adding up to about 30 add shipping and make it an even $37. The cost of the cellmass before shipping. But the serving amount is much greater too. Just go to GNC and brouse the ingredient labels and you can find alternatives for much cheaper if you don't mind. The No-xplode is a little different, it has creatine ethly ester, arginine and I forget what else (killed the bottle). You again can by the same seperate products with a lot more dosage potential for less than the cost of the total product I am sure. So read up.

again Glen breaks out his private investigative skills for us, thanks man, good thinking.

I'm going to continue using Trueprotein.com. I haven't ordered anything from them except protein and a 1lb bag of BCAA's but they sell powdered CEE and glutamine and glutamine peptides in powder form and supposedly they're going to be adding more soon

Trueprotein has indeed change the protein world, they tons of mixtures, combos, and i dont think anything can beat that,.....Good stuff, tastes great, now i don't have to hold down my nose and try to jug medicine taste of some protein shakes.....Yuck!. GNC

Sure you can get the same ingredients... But you are paying for the delivery system. Correct me if I'm wrong

Dude you are great! I never really thought of it but I went and checked it out today and you are right, the only problem I have is being on the go constantly I have to have the convience of it all togather. Otherwise I would need a gym bag the size of VW Bug (HA HA)

The delivery system is mostly for the creatine. That is why you can buy cheaper creatine with delivery systems in it like Phosphagen HP, or shop around there are more out there. Regular creatine is poorly absorbed by the body. This is why there is a loading phase on standard creatine. Delivery systems have been added to many of the new products. It is no longer cutting edge.
