What the hell. I am in the middle of a hard core bulk and my buddy asks me to play a game in a rec basketball league with him. Holy shit! I could only make it up the court like five times before my legs were on FIRE and my lungs were working as hard as they could. WTF??? I used to be fast, quick ya know. Not anymore. At 5'8" and 230# B-ball is NOT for me. Maybe when getting ready for a show, but never again in the middle of a bulk. BAD IDEA...
 
haha i know what you mean bro i used to be about 175 or so in baseball and runnin 4 miles wasnt no thang. when i was cutting and doing cardio before my knee got hurt i tried to run a mile and let me tell you goin from 175 to 235 at 5'10 i made it about half a mile and couldnt move haha im def. not used to that damn weight thats for sure.
 
Try running track in HS (the 800M) in a shade over 2 minutes @ 165lbs.

I got as heavy as 278lbs in the DC program. I haven't been the same since. I just now got back into being able to run on the treadmill for more than 15 minutes with a 6.0 or higher. (Thanks to MikeSwift, actually).

Glad I play the D-line right now (converted from LB because I don't move like I used to)
 
I can completly relate, at the midpoint of my bulking two months ago i tried to play basketball too bro, BAD IDEA. I couldnt breathe or move after the first 5 minutes. Its crazy how i used to be able to play 90 minutes of soccer and be slightly fatigued at the end but now i could pobably go 10-15 minutes although i did start cutting and cardio about 2 1/2 weeks ago so this summer ill be back in that soccer league!
