kidney probs/aas?

I was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy about 2 mths ago. Pretty much means that i have to limit myself to whatever my lean mass is and that is how much protien i can take in. I'm 5"8 and 170 with about 11%bf. B4 diagnoises i was at 400mg protien daily. the doc wants me on 100-125mg.
The doc put me on some bloodpressure meds to control my bp which runs around 110/60 without it. its just a saftey measure to keep the least amount of protien in my kidneys.
I have done 1 cycle in the past with great results, but that was before i knew i had this. Come to find out i have had this prob for about 6 yrs.
Heres my quest.... with taking AAS, how many of you guys are on BP meds and does AAS actually make a significant increase in your BP? Im wanting to do another cycle this summer, but im wanting to get as much info as i can b4 i do anything thats really going to mess me up. any info would be great....thanx

BP was fine for a long time, until I started: 1) taking AAS for a while, and 2) getting heavier (more LBM, not fat).

So, now I try to play with what I take - limit or rotate the AAS that can mess with your BP. I currently take two meds for my BP. I also check it every week or two. It is now 140/90. I am trying to add some more cardio to my workouts to help wtih this.

I, too, had my kidneys tested (or to be more precise, my doc was concerned), but they were fine. I try to drink a lot (1 to 1 1/2 gallons a day), which should help balance out the impact on the kidneys of taking in 300-400 grams of protein.

I am 5'8" and 195 now, wiht about 12% bf. I am planning on cutting a few more pounds of fat which should help.

Your diet has a huge impact on this, Plus you need to add some cardio. What ever you decide to do, I think once you start your cycle you should get tested often. Maybe even stick with short esters.

Some of the guys here can tell you what to take out and add to your diet. Im not up on dieting, I do know that you need to reduce your sodium intake.

it sounds like your blood pressure was too low, is this correct?

I wouldn't mess around with another cycle right now bro, it sounds like you've got a problem that will be manageable right now but you don't want to risk it turning into something that will impact the rest of your life. AAS use relies on protein and if you're not able to eat enough protein than your not going to get much from another cycle and risk more sides. Do lots of research and listen to your doc. Lots of knowledgeable people online but nothing beats talking to your doctor.

well, i go2 the doc every 3mths. i got some left over test e and var, so i might just watch how everything goes and if things go well, i will run a test only cycle this winter. hard as hell goin from 350mg of protien to 100. Sux ass, been on a that diet for about 1.5 yrs, hard to change old habits. thanx guys.

im guessin if i was to run a cycle, it would be best to run a short ester. I have no idea what type of cycle to run with a short ester. tren/win/eq? Give me a couple ideas. Only ran one cycle of test/deca/dbol.

I would agree a short ester would be better for you so you can drop it if anything goes wrong. I still don't think it's a great idea for you to go on but if you insist I wouldn't run EQ because of it being a long ester compound and would stay in your system for a long time even after you drop it. I also wouldn't run winny because it's harder on your liver and will be harder on your kidneys as well. Lots of water and cranberry extract will help
