School Nutrition

I would bring my own food. Now, if you get free food at school, I'd eat that and bring something a little extra.

it seems like you're already bringing a lot of food with you so I would go ahead and eat the food that school is serving but try and make the smart choices where you can, I'm sure there's some fruit and vergetables avialable and other options besides french fries. Since you're bulking and young and probably have a very fast metabolism eat all the food you can. Especially protein so opt for the hamburgers and cheeseburgers and salsbury steaks and chicken... real food is still better than supps and protein shakes and PB&J even if there's fat in it because with all of the training you're doing you need the fat too.

and you never turn down free food, that's rule #1 of being an MC member.

Mike brings another point. I'm not too removed from HS myself. I remember the big debates and stuff about how they were going to provide better choices for kids to eat. I think it's also state issue too, If I remember correctly. Some states stopped selling sodas at certain times. Maybe this was a michael moore film I'm thinking? I need to go back to bed

remember when the Government tried to get ketchup certified as a vegetable? I think it was Regan but maybe it was after him. They tried to push it through that ketchup was a vegetable so they can claim that kids in school were getting enough "healthy" food.

You gotta have milk as a choice for your school lunch, go ahead and drink a few of those along with what you eat.

malic, definitely bring your lunch. its all clean foods and eat it all. if you are still hungry, and can still eat more, then eat the school food too.

when you get to the point that people make comments like "I cant believe you eat so much and you're not fat" and "dont you ever stop eating?".....then you are doing something right.

just remember, eat all the clean food first - then everything else is a go.
