late workouts

I go to school and work for most of the day and do not get a chance to workout till late a lot of days. Any suggestions for a pre workout pick me up?
 
it depends on how you react and how much later you're going to be going to bed, I just recently started drinking Redline after MsFit had recommended it a long time ago. It's great but it is probably too much of a jolt for you if it's going to be late at night because you'll probably have a hard time getting to sleep
 
Late workouts, yes, some of us are forced into these because of a hectic work schedule or homelife. I am one of those unfortunates.

To be perfectly honest, when I workout late...no matter what, I'm amped-up and I have trouble sleeping. I'd just try to find a routine that works. For me, I nap after work and prior to my workout. That way I can be up until midnight and not worry about having to wake up at 5:00am.

I know I have yet to answer your question. You want a good "pick-me-up" for a workout. Redline is great but as Mike said you may have trouble sleeping. Perhaps a less harsh energy drink or a small cup of coffee? 1 caffene tab, instead of 4-5? All are great and work wonders but you run the risk of not being able to sleep all that well, especially if you're like me and have trouble sleeping post workout no matter what.
 
I never have a problem sleeping after a late w/o. I get exhausted and can't wait for bed. As for the pick me up, diet mountain dew is what I drink on the way to the gym. Caffiene, 0 cal, tastes ok. Just me....
 
a couple drinks one redbull and also maybe a carboforce during your workout, should get you going just enough to push hard and not keep you up all night
 
i work out later too and im with jay i cant sleep when i get home im so tired cant walk or move arms good but body is still very much alive and doestn want to rest. Redline is by far the strongest energy drink if you asked me as mike said but i think you would be up for the hole night if you drank one of those hole things.
Presser brings a good point maybe have a cup of coffee then a carboforce to push through your workout let us know what you find out and if anything works for ya.
 
I drank a Redline yesterday at about 5:30 before my PM workout and still fell asleep on the couch in the middle of watching TV at 10:30...
 
i drank a full redline on an empty stomach and people prob thought i was a heroin addict i couldnt hold my keys without them jingling lmao.
 
I work all night and have to wait like 3hrs to go to the gym, which is like 5 am. Its a pain in the azz! but a redline drink will get me boosted when I get there

if i drink it on an empty stomach it goes right through me... that stuff can give you the runs if you're not careful with it.

I don't get shaky from it but I know what you mean about the jingling. I felt like I had parkinsons while on clen and couldn't drink a glass of ice water without jingling the ice in the glass
 
ECA stack and work off all the extra energy on your girlfriend when you get home...oh, shit I forgot that I'm in a little hillbilly bunch of bullshit Florida town and I don't have a sister... :nope:
