Late workouts, yes, some of us are forced into these because of a hectic work schedule or homelife. I am one of those unfortunates.
To be perfectly honest, when I workout late...no matter what, I'm amped-up and I have trouble sleeping. I'd just try to find a routine that works. For me, I nap after work and prior to my workout. That way I can be up until midnight and not worry about having to wake up at 5:00am.
I know I have yet to answer your question. You want a good "pick-me-up" for a workout. Redline is great but as Mike said you may have trouble sleeping. Perhaps a less harsh energy drink or a small cup of coffee? 1 caffene tab, instead of 4-5? All are great and work wonders but you run the risk of not being able to sleep all that well, especially if you're like me and have trouble sleeping post workout no matter what.
