Slin timing

I have a quick question about timing slin. I usually take it when I get home from the gym (~15 min post w/o) and have seen good results. However, on fridays I lift at school. The drive home is about 45 min with traffic (minimum). Is it worth using it at that time? I am concerned about fat gains. Just a note, I am at school all day and can't bring it with me (won't stay cool). Any info would be great....
 
on option to bringing it with you is what I do with IGF when I take it with me, I load a syringe and throw a reusable ice pack in the bottom of my bag and wrap the pin in it, it should stay cool for about 5 or 6 hours using this method depending on the outside temp. Sometimes I freeze a bottle of water as well and keep that with it then when i'm done working out I've got an ice cold drink and a shot waiting for me ;)
 
When using slin IMO, you should always be concerned with fat gains no matter when you take it. Mikeswift's solution sounds like a great one to me and should probably work for you.
 
the slin doesnt have to stay cold all the time
and do it in the car right after your workout
bring a carbo force with you for the drive home
 
Bump Supermanpc on this. I load mine the night before and take them to the gym in the morning and then use it right after my workout (I just go to the bathroom and swab, and stab).

But if you are driving any distance, make damn sure you don't go hypo or you will crash and may take some folks with you. I am dragging after the workout anyway, so I usualloy drink an energy drink in the car (as well as a protein drink with a lot of sugar right after I use it.)
 
Be careful bro...I don't like slin...It's hard to control the fat gains for me as I go hypo very easily. It was never worth the risk. I honestly don't think it's worth the hassle for anyone, but that's JMO.
 
I must be a strange case because I didn't gain any fat at all during my last slin cycle. Didn't go hypo at any time even at 20 iu though I always ate right after taking it.
 
after a few medium or low days, 6 iu hits me pretty hard sometimes. i take 6 , 6, 3pre, and 3 pwo, throughout a high day. slin is ok at room temp, it just cant get hot.
 
tony - you must not be slin sensitive. It was really hard to control for me. Either that or it was all in my head. lol. I remember many times of feeling shaky, sweaty, extremely tired off of 7-8iu's and consuming about 75-80g of simple sugars within 15 minutes of using it. A couple of times I just couldn't shake the feeling, got scared and would consume an extra 100-150g of sugar to feel somewhat normal again. A couple of times I consumed a shit load of extra carbs (like 40oz of grape juice about 180g of carbs) and would pass out because I literaly could not stay awake and did not want to die. Age may have something to do with it as I was about 21 when I tried this. I got about 10lbs heavier after 4 weeks but I would definitely say that more of the 10lbs was fat than muscle.

BTW I was using humulog which is the faster acting than humulin-r.
