Anavar

I wanted some opinions about using var in cycles.

I have used it several times (at 80 mg/day) and like the results. I also get essentially NO sides from it. So here is the question.

I am always on, and typically rotate between a bulking cycle (test and tren) and a cycle to allow cutting and to help the tendons grow (low test but with Deca, Primo, Var and/or eq).

Frankly, I really like the low sides from the tendon cycle and was thinking lowering the dose of the test and tren and boosting it with some Var - essentially doing VAR all the time. (If I did that, I wouldn't be running accuate during the cycle so that should more than balance out)

I get my liver values tested regularly (every 4-6 weeks), as well as choleterol and I monitor my BP. If the orals would cause a problem, it would be with my liver, so if I get that tested regularly I should be OK.

Also, too much eq jacks with my BP, so I can't just add that back in.

Hey the doctors in the house!! Where you been??

Id say sounds great if you can afford it. I took a look at var a while ago and its a bit pricey for me.... So I stay away from it. T-bol is much cheaper.

Im not sure, but maybe a week ago, someone posted that var is actually good for the liver.

NormalSucks - thanks for the feedback.

If you get var as a powder, it is a WHOLE lot cheaper than tabs. $10 a gram for var is only twice as expensive as the tbol powder I use. I basically would take $5 in var a week. Not cheap, but nothing compared to the price of the FOOD that I eat. I don't even cap it; i just toss it in my protein shakes (which do end up tasting a bit harsh with creatine, glutamine and proviorn in there as well.)

Ya, I dont know where the heck everyone's been latley... so I figured I had to say something- even though I dont know much about var. I read that Anavar is best when taken with creatine because it causes a increase in phosphocreatine levels. But it does lower your test levels....:

Oxandrolone treatment was associated with significant suppression of sex hormone-binding globulin, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and total and free testosterone levels.

Yep - Var and Primo (and even proviron) can mess with your endogenous test levels if you take enough of the stuff to really see an effect. At half a gram of var a week, I know it will start to shut me down. But since I have been on for over a year.... well... it can't shut me down more than I am. But I am 40 and I know a couple of folks younger than I who are on THT, so it isn't impossible.

so what about your receptor cells?? do they stay open- even though your on all the time??

yeah it'll shut you down but like you said you are shut down already from all the gear... people seem to confuse being shut down and some even say that you won't be shut down too hard or that much... It's like being pregnant, you either are or you're not!

I'm getting some var this week but probably won't be starting it for a few weeks, I'll let you know what I think then bro. Sorry I can't help!

I don't have any with me but I've read clinicals of little girs running it for years with no side effects... no joke, I'll have to dig it up at home. It's very mild and if he's having periodic check-ups he's fine. he is "Doctor"Will after all!

In terms of being shut down, Mikeswift is right. If you take any AAS long enough it will shut you down. Var or primo (or even proviron) may be slower than Tren or Deca, but they will shut you down too.

Longest I have taken Var so far is for about 8 weeks (I think). But with getting the blood work done regularly, I figured I would know if something was wrong. On the flip side, don't really take dbol or winnie because they are harsh orals, so I tend to be cautious. But I am not sure if the typical caution about not taking orals for more than 6 weeks would apply equally to all orals.

Thansk for the feedback bros. I will let you know if there is a problem with this (other than having to take crappy tasting shakes!)

I've too pondered this exact question.

I keep pointing myself the the MC encylopedia forum and take this line:

"But it has to be noted that, eventhough oxandrolone is nowhere near Halotestin or anadrol in hepa-toxicity, it too is a 17-alpha-alkylated substance that can cause liver damage if used for long periods on end."

Though DW, I'd be very interested in seeing someone who has regular labwork done try it out. You or me, and I don't go to the dr's unless I'm dying or need a refill on vicodin, lol.
