NEW Whey is out by IDS and is great on 2.09 per dose and carries 25 g of protein has anyone ever tried it yet I love it and it's an RTD only 2.9 ounces.

RTD as in "ready to drink"?

RTD protein shakes aren't good....any premixed protein drink is bad. Premixed protein degrades over time. Think how long its been liquified by the time you buy it? Days...months...longer? Any decent protein is long gone.

And they are hella-expensive for the "convenience".
 
Figures: I have been using the wrong supplements all along. I mainly use Muscle Tech stuff but I'm tired of them...NitroTech is absolute shit and it gives me a rash.

So...What do you recommend? I think I've heard you recommend some sites that allow you to make your own but I'm absolutely clueless as to what to do when it come to that sort of stuff. Help me brotha!
 
Optimum Nutritions 100% whey protien is one of the best I've come across. Taste delish and a scoop will totally dissolve in 16 ounces of water, which is rare cause most protiens just clump up when you try to mix em in a glass of H2O.

I use ISS whey matrix....just cause it good quality and cheap and mixes well. I got some Prolab whey the other day for the new flavor (chocolate peanut butter) and its pretty good too, though a couple bucks more than comparable brands.
 
i bought a jug of the cheap stuff from GNC a while back and the shit was like sand lol it didnt dissolve just accumulated in the bottom of the glass lol... i liked the N-large brand but im out of it. i think ill try the optimum if i can find it. never tried nitro tech but the N-large one i had was like mixing flour and water it was a mess.
 
It's strange how optimum retails their stuff for less than what it would cost to manufacture if it indeed met label claims...

With protein powders it's simple - it should disolve fully and you should get NO, ZERO, ZILCH, absolutely no gas, bloating or upset stomach. if you do, it's from the fillers that are not listed on the label.
 
I use Probled 55 by hdt it was 22 bucks at vitamin shoppe for 6 lbs on sale I bought 6 tubs and took this stuf for breakfast lunch and dinner
 
trueprotein.com is where it's at for me, custom blends and seperate flavor packs so that you don't have to drink the same flavor for weeks on end...

I like it as well, a very close second is dymatize elite, it also mixes extremely well.

I imagine the same thing goes with protein bars. Those things seem like a load of shit too...

Dymatize brand chocolate protein drink tastes the best and there strawberry weight gainer tastes like strawberry nestle quick
 
Personally I like to buy in bulk and I don't like getting stuck with the same flavor for weeks that's what I love about the little flavor bottles you can pick up from Trueprotein. I can order 20lbs of "plain" protein and 3 or 4 different flavors to alternate the mix those little bottles go a long way... mmmmm watermelon
