Corn Oil

In a healthy diet fats and oils should be used sparingly although you shouldn’t eliminate them completely… While corn oil does contain a high amount of polyunsaturated fats it’s still inferior to olive oil in terms of nutritional content. Anyhow, don’t start supplementing your diet with plain old oil. You don’t need it and it won’t help you out much. If you must, ad some to your protein shakes but you
Would be better off throwing some peanut or almond butter in that stuff. The main point here is that there are much better options than oil.

Here a quick comparison of corn & olive oil I pulled of Columbia’s website:

· CORN: 59% polyunsaturated 24% monounsaturated 13% saturated 6.4:1 unsaturated/saturated fat ratio
· OLIVE: 9% polyunsaturated 72% monounsaturated 14% saturated 5.8:1 unsaturated/saturated fat ratio
The point here is that olive oil is a better pick.

Why not add some UDos Oil blend to your shake or even a bit of MCT's ( coconut oil ).
Pure Coconut Oil I use in all my foods . once touted as being bad but it was all propaganda. .. very good stuff which the old folks used for everything. not to mentio rubbing some coocnut oil on the skin is excellent for the complexion and skin health.. So anyone who will like a bottle, let me know , itsm ade abundantly here yet we don recognise the goodness of it. I know in the US or even UK, it was very hard to find, except as capsules.

yeah coconut oil isn't bad I use it as a sub for milk when cooking. taste good in a shake too. still, p-butter and other nuts are better choice.

I will say peanut butter and other nuts are good too but I still like my co. oil and virgin olive oil. :) Coconut oil is supposed to be the most thermally stable oil and thus best for frying if you do .

When bulking I go with olive oil in the shakes, it's easy and cheap.

But great info there agin SD, thanks for the comparison and break down.

I have also heard of people using flax seed oil or just adding ground flax seed to their protein shakes.

I'm using Udo's oil at the moment (4 tblspoons - 60g fat) and I have to say my energy levels seem to be a lot higher. I notice this especially when my carb intake is low. Just throw it on your food/ or in your protein shakes. Great stuff!!

I use flax seed oil in my shakes, I take fish oil tabs and add olive oil to my food because I'm Italian and it tastes good. Corn oil could quite possibly be the worst thing you could add extra of
