home renovations - expect the unexpected

OK, so I've been removing wallpaper, painting and renovating my "new" house and just when I thought I was getting into pretty good shape the cable guy shows up. I'm having them install 3 cable boxes and 3 phone lines as well as a cable modem so he had a lot of work to do. Now to say the guy was big would be an understatement. He got out of his van and I thought he was standing on something, I'm 6'2" and about 205 right now so I'm no shortie but this guy was easily 6"5" and 300 - 320 lbs. I left him in the house with a bunch of other workers to get to it and ran off to the hardware store for more supplies. I get back and open the door to the side entrace and there's a shattered hardwood step that he put his foot through while going up and down the stairs. Expect the unexpected... just another thing I had to fix before we could settle in. I'll be living out of boxes and suitcases for a while longer but I should be back online full time on Monday.

I painted your room a nice sage green Vert, very relaxing... I spent the weekend rebuilding all of the stairs to the basement with a bro of mine and it was a blessing in disguise because now I have a new set of steps.

I don't know how the fat ass did it but there's a brand new cable running through the crawl space in my attic, which is now a converted master suite. I think he must have greased himself up before sliding into the crawl space, I didn't see it so it's hard to believe!
