Raw Egg Whites

How much of raw pasturized eggs whites can your body digest if any?

I can get pasturized egg whites by the 1/2 gallon at about $6 and if i drink 8 oz with 1 cup of oatmeal and 2 scoops of muscle milk will i get more bang for my buck or just alot of bad ass gas??
 
I would think you could take as much as your body can handle, everyone is different.
 
I was told on here that when I was drinking raw eggs from me cracking them open not to do it , because just cause it looked good in the rocky movies you dont absorb any of the protein from them... so whats the difference from drinking the eggs from the carton of egg whites than from cracking the eggs open myself and drinking them?

That's exactly what I knew. And they allways got to be mixed with some yolk for an optimal proteic absorbtion.
 
I heard that if you crack open raw eggs you'll end up getting hep? or some type of disease. I figured the same would apply to the egg whites, so I always cooked them. Eggs are so damn cheap, wish I could just suck a couple down every couple hours.
 
well all eggs from what I thought are pasteurized now anyways , atleast some are , so if you make sure you get from the right place you can just gulp em down no problem to get the protein right.
 
you can get simanila (sp) by drinking eggs from the carton... you absolutly have to have them pasturized. also helps if you get some digestive enzymes in there like papaya to help cut on the gas... just mix half a teaspoon with 8 ounces raw egg... its not all that bad :thumbsup:
 
well how much does papaya cost thought , because Im thinking bout drinking whole raw eggs again , making sure i get the carton that says pasteurized on it
 
About papaya.. i used the pills all sumemr long and loved the chewable ones... i bought the real fruit a few weeks ago, it is night and day between how well the two worked.. no comparison. I get the fruit ever time now and pay the extra money to know i am getting what i want. i felt hungry after a couple of hours with the fruit but really so much with the tabs ...

he said PASTURIZED eggs...there is a difference between plain raw eggs out of the shell & pasturized eggs...pasturized eggs have been heated to a certain degree & all of the bacteria is killed, if any...pasturized eggs, you can drink all you want!
 
I also have heard there is a enzime in the yolk that helps you digest the whites,
I usually throw a yolk in with my whites. AND I dont know the answer to your
question - sorry bro

I used to do the same thing but I never actually looked into it to find out if it's true or not, the yolks just makes them taste better if you ask me.

It didn't say anything about the yolk helping digest the white (or I missed it)

that write-up does nothing more than reafirm the reason why someone should discard the yolks. Get your lean protien by eating just the whites (while avoiding the fat etc of the yolks) and take a damn multivitamin
