wife and I bought a dog a couple weeks ago and we finaly can pick it up tomorrow

bought a dachshund puppy, we been wanting this exact type of dog for a while now and found pupps finaly.

ill post pics tomorrow, named him Vincent after "Vince Young" of the tennesee titans.

He only gets 2.5 pounds, anyone else have one?

We were thinking of naming him Titan after the titans team and obviously cuase the dog is so small it would have been funny

I had to put both of my girls down this week.
One had tumors discovered in her stomach, when she was put down the other sensed it and began not to eat and she began to deteriorate.
Both were 14 which is old for German Shepherds. They had never been apart since they were little and even though they would fight sometimes, they still needed each other.
I am hoping to get a american bulldog/terrier mix today. He is good dog it looks like, and he's got muscle all over which is always a good thing...

damn sorry to hear that mmx...i had to put my dobie down last year and it was rough...i now have a 3 year old presa canerio..i have had him since he was 7 weeks and he is now like 145 or so and the best dog i ever owned...
hey p when i was married to my wench of an ex we got a tea cup yorkie, now tahts a gay dog LOL not as a gay as a poodle but gay nonetheless LOL

my girl and i bought a minature pincher a few months ago
hes cool as shit
hes only 5 pounds and looks exactly like a doberman pincher but mini size
his name is Branch after Branch Warren and i have a pit named Cuts

Thanks guys...
My adoption application was accepted so I got my dog tthis afternoon.
His name is Diego( I changed his name from Rhett ) and so far is a great dog.
I will post pics once I take them.

i have a rotwieler and she is the shit !!! talk about a tank. she is not that tall but thick as hell, smartest dog ever too.

There aint nothin wrong with poodle, toy chi's or anything..........I have a timber wolf thats 9 montsh old and 120lb's. I would trade him for a poodle anyday. This damn dog can climb out of a 12 foot high fence and kill every animal around for fun.......

He runs 35-40 MPH so when he gets happy to see me it's like getting hit by a fast truck.

I like all dogs small and big. I just dont like dogs that bark while im sleeping.

Forgot to mention I have two of my own, a lab and a german shepard whose names are Ravage and Chaos. Great dogs.

wow is it hard? do u take in alot of dogs? i couldnt imagine doing it but we did look at a few places like that and i have a new found respect for those people

We do take in a lot of dogs. I try not to do more then 2 at a time but we have had up to 5 not counting our own dogs. We have one right now, a lab hound mix 10 weeks old. Beautiful dog. Of course you may have to get used to some furnitue being damaged.
