Injections Question

My bro was injecting Andropen in his glute and when the needle was pulled out dark blood came behind it. He's used to seeing maybe a little bit of blood but he said it was real dark this time. Should he think anything of it? Also what are your guys thoughts on bumpin up his injection to a gram a week? Preciously it was at 800mgs. You think thats too much. Only thing he is running is Andropen right now. Thanks

probably just nicked a vein no real worries unless it was spurting out like a volcano..and what r his stats, thats the only way we would know if a gram is to much, i would say if its a 5-3 100# girl its to much but if its a guy with tons of cycles under his belt and weighs in at 290 then we would hvae a different story

Yea my fault on the stats i should've given them, 3rd cycle, taken prop, eq, winny, sus, dbol (not all together). 5'9, 245.

5'9" and 245 is a big boy, granted thats a fairly lean 245.

his stats are similar to mine, what kinda doses did he run in the past?

Prop was 500mg/week and Sus was 700mg/week. I'm not sure on the other ones. And Drew fairly lean isn't the word, mainly bulky as hell with some fat.

i would say if he is still making some good gains on the current dose, then to stick with it,,i have run numerous cycles and am only running 750mgs at the present moment and i am gaining just fine but then i am sensitive to any gear..

Without knowing much about his cycle it's hard to give advice on kicking it up.

As for the blood, I'm sure he nicked a vein. I hope he is in the habit of aspirating.

I have seen dark blood a few times I have pulled the needle out of my skin. It seems to me that this has only happened after injecting into the glutes with me too. I am still alive so it won't kill him. As far as damage or health risks I really have no clue as to if there are any associated with this.

Yea I figured it wasn't that huge of a deal since he's still alive and as for aspirating, he does everytime he's very cautious.

The main reason why most people see more blood from the glutes is it's a awkward angle at times and you tend to wiggle to much.

Seeing just a little bit of blood isn't a problem. Most of us will bleed a little bit now and then after an injection. Seeing a stream of blood shoot out would be more of a problem. Dark blood means it is from a vein. Bright red means from an artery which would be far, far worse. As long as you don't have blood shooting out of you, you should be fine.

i used to just about always shoot right before shower time.. nothing like hot water to thin the oil in the site, (massage it in), and some hot water and direct pressure to stop the blood..

more on larger injections than small ones... but always, just about always had a few extra alcohol pads on hand and ready to work in case shower isn't an option and the blood has got to stop quick..

rubbing alcohol or hot water w/ direct pressure will stop it.. dark isn't bad as long as it stops..

Stick hit the nail on the head. I always shower after an injection. Just makes sanitary and clean up easier. A little dark blood is ok. States he aspirates.

Blood is normally that dark anyways, so bump da_Fonz on this comment, theres nothin to worry about and as IP said he prolly hit a vein and more came out then normal and he freaked. Also at 245lbs and having a few cycles under his belt, a gram of andropen by it self is fine IMO.
