I’ve been injecting prop ed for almost 8 weeks now. Im pretty sensitive to prop, usually after 4 weeks my site injections start to get swollen. Im used to it, so after my delts get really sensitive, I start incorporating other sites. Well, about 2 weeks ago I decided to rotate back to my shoulder. The shoulder felt fine, no knots in it… thought it was ready for another shot.
The next day the site swelled way up. No pain, its just getting to the point where you can see the swelling through my shirts. After a week, I decided to shoot some b12 into the swelled up area. I’ve done this many times before, I don’t know if there is any medicinal properties- but usually it helps with swelling, or pain from an injection. After a couple days I usually feel much better.
Anyway, when I pulled out the needle, a bunch of puss came out. It was a slightly yellow/ white color… not 2 thick. Not a good sign.
Im wondering how serious this is at this point. Im considering draining it tonight, maybe with an 18 gauge pin.
Just wondering what your experiences are, what your thoughts are.
