HIT cardio

here is a sample of what HIGH INTENSITY CARDIO is all about...

as far as cardio or weight lifting is, you have two extremes to the spectrum...
the aerobic and the anaerobic-the aerobic being low intensity high duration and the anaerobic being high intensity low duration...

with HIT cardio you are only spending AN HOUR at the most doing cardio A WEEK-reread that

however it is VERY INTENSE AND TO THE POINT, some people would argue that with such HIGH INTENSITY one would sacrafice too much muscle, however that is not the case-as a matter of FACT it is just the opposite...look at sprinters compared to long distance runners...who has the better body? your body can not afford to scarfice any more muscle due to the anaerobic stress that it is put under...

the 1st thing that one needs to get is a heart rate monitor and use this during HIT CARDIO...you need to get to your target heart rate as quickly as possibe and hold it there for the prescribed period of time...
go to www.I-A-R-T.com to see the chart that dictates the target heart rate according to your age and gender

EXAMPLE: I'm 30, my target heart rate would be 170-175bpm however, because I'm a stubborn asshole I push it to 180bpm and hold it there.
I accomplish this with sprinting and then hold the heart rate in the time frame by using a moderate jog, if the heart rate drops below 175 then I will sprint again to get it back to 180bpm-anything over 200bpm and I need to cut back so I'm not looking at a heart attact right on the spot

HOW LONG? when a person starts on HIT CARDIO they should start slowly so their body has time to ADAPT to the stress of this particular type of training
I recommend 8 minutes 3x a week
then add 2 minutes every week until you have hit the 15min. mark anything more than 15min. would be overkill and YES your body will not have time to recuporate (sp?)

a word of warning this type of training should not be taken lightly it is very extreme and painful...

THE KICKER: now for the "kicker" this has been argued on the IART round table by yours truely
by using chemicals such as clen or ephedrine one can reach and hold the target heart rate quicker and longer than with out-it can also be accomplished with less effort on the BB's part
chemicals such as clen and ephedrine are not held in high regard by IART because there are no studies done on the long term effects so your "taking your chances"
well, by using these chemicals one can reduce the stress on the joints, tendons, and ligaments because less effort is needed to get the desired results

actually if you think about it ephedrine and most steriods have been around for quite a while, however, so of the other practices that are legal such as breast implants, laser hair removal, laser eye surgery, etc have only been around for a decade or so...
everyone that has every succeed in life no matter what the endeavor, they all have one thing in common...THEY TOOK A CHANCE

guess you can wait until your 90 and see what the long term effects of anything are but by then it's too late and life has passed you by

this is a brief and abbreviated version of what HIT CARDIO is about check out www.I-A-R-T.com and www.mikementzer.com
they both fall back on objective philosophy and try to eliminate as many loop holes as possible and create a concrete science out of bodybuilding,i.e. eliminating as many variables as possible to get to the truth

Very nice Dorian and very informative. Fonzy wrote something similar back in the day but throughout the years and with the numeroous upgrades, so many valuable info gets lost. I am going to make this a sticky for everyone.

Thank you so much and i look forward to more of your writing.

Yeah, I think I'll be switchin back to this form of cardio when I decide to cut up again. Slow cardio is taking too much damn time out of my day!
