He told me that if I do 1 set of heavy squats right before I bench my bench max would increase. I don't know about this, but I'm looking for any research to back it up if anyone has some. I'll talk to him again today and try to find out why he believes this, but I believe he said it was because my body would realease a whole ton of hormones when I squatted heavy and then those would be available to help boost my bench for a one time deal. Thoughts?
