Sauna/Steam Room Question

Ok, I'm looking to cut some weight and am doing cardio in the morning on an empty stomach 5 days a week for 30 mins.

My question is, after my cardio, would sitting in the sauna help me lose more body fat?

I've searched the forum and it seems that the steam room is no good for losing fat, and if that's the case... why even go in there at all?

It's good for sweating off water weight. I used to use it to make weight before a wrestling match, but I don't know if it's would be good to help you lose anything aside from water weight. So, in my opinion it's a quick fix.

agreed

exactly. As far as what good are they. Some people use it becaus it just feels good - some people to sweat the toxins out. I used to work out at
a Gym w/sauna. After a hard workout I used it because it just felt good to
wind down and relax.

agreed with the above posts... my only add is that post workout is not always a great time to use the sauna. Even though it feels good, you've just spent countless time and energy and effort to pump your muscles full of blood, the moment your core temperture rises when in the sauna or even a steam room all that blood goes right to your vital organs and leaves your muscles. Personally I have a theory that it delays healing and recovery time from lifting so I only use it after doing cardio
