are you LinkedIn?

does anyone here use this site for business contacts? I started using it this week and at first I thought it was another Facebook, Myspace kinda bullshit site but I have to say I've been really impressed with it. Once you put in your info it automatically starts to link you to people you may have worked with or went to school with.

Just another site I'm not ever going to use. Got on myspace for a few days before some old chicks found me and it took them 2 weeks on facebook. My wife doesn't like it when random women start emailing me. So, I'm sure I won't be using this one either. but that's just me

yeah I know what you mean about those sites, the difference with this one is that you basically enter the companies you've worked for and your school, experience etc. and unless the people have worked with you in the past or know you personally by entering your e-mail address they can't contact you. It's actually very smart and once you're entered your info it will actually suggest people that you might know because it checks by the companies you've worked and the years you were there... it's an excellent resource for people in business.

Yes, I am on LinkedIn for business. I have yet to see a real benefit from it, but I'm there.
