Sometimes, when dealing with idiots, you need to cancel your western union money transfer:
Its the first time ever for me, so maybe you'll never have to. But, im trying to save you from wasting your time, like i have just done. First off, WU and everyone that works there has no clue what there doing.
You call and cancel your WU order. You talk to one operator and they tell you to go to any location to pick up your money.
You go to "any" location to pick up your money and they cant find the mtcn number. At that location they tell you, that you have to go to the original location that you purchased the money transfer.
So at the Original location, they can find the transaction, but cant do a thing with it. So you call WU on the phone, after explaining everything to the operator (who's in mexico) they transfer you to another operator (who understands english better) and they tell you that in order to be paid, this is what has to happen:
cancel your WU transaction by phone. Then tell the operator that you want them (WU) to make YOU the reciever, and WU the sender for a money transfer in the same amount that your money order was for. IF they dont do this, your going to get the run around. They will call you back later when they get a new MTCN number.
