bump for anybody that cares about our troops or our future as a nation.

I know this is a touchy subject. But we need to think about the reality of money.

That war we are fighting is costing a fortune. ITs not even something we have a budget for, Its something that we are borrowing to pay for. Just think about something for a minute, you decide to build a garage for your house.... do you whip out your credit card and pay contractors to build that garage? do you hire contractors to build your garage and dont even really know how long your going to pay them, or how much it will cost? no.....

I know its important to save the world from bad people. but, Those people in iraq have been fighing for 1000 years. You have to understand that it all started with abraham.... Yes, thats what they're fighting over. So the idea of us walking in there and fixing there hatred for eachother in anything less than 100 years is pathetic.

It was a bad idea to go there. we couldnt afford it when we went, we cant afford it now, we MIGHT be able to afford it later if we get our shit together.

We need to get the fuck out of there... fix our economy. When we can balance our own checkbook, then maybe we can try to fix things. People have no idea how bad things are, in the last 10 years, some dumb fuck let the entire manufactoring sector pick up and leave, started a war that costs 14 billion a month, didnt nothing for the 5th largest sector of our economy (automotive) and still continues to say everythings fine... FUCKING IDIOT!!! Just in, our banks are now failing... guess what, YOUR MONEY, thats in YOUR bank account.... well, lets just say.... do you feel lucky???

thing is obama with his change bullshit is going to solve nothing. Id vote for Sarah Palin into true presidency before id vote for nobama.

I do agree with normal on the fact we are fighting a multi-millennium long war that will never be "won", by either side.

Its like us trying to get the Palestineans to accept that part of "their" land now belongs to Israel.

Another problem is we are trying to run Iraq like America. But Iraq is a country run on religion, and America's only true God is the almighty dollar. Things will never work out there, because we are trying to make the country something it is not, and can never be.

You cant change centuries of culture in years or even decades. It takes centuries to change centuries.

oh yeah i agree with alot of his points. I didnt post the vid to show why we should be in the war. Alot of people now days say that even the troops are against the war and that is not always the case. I would also agree that other countries are none of our damn business unless it effects us directly. Its just been a long time coming and now its damage control.

IMO, the troops that are FOR the war, are mostly for it because they are putting their life's on the line; and no one wants to be putting their life's on the line for nothing. Its completely understandable - human beings need to have a feeling of self-reasoning.
