IGF log... my last ditch effort

Currently I'm 5'8 and as of today 218 and very lean. Been training for 17 years and occasionally compete, but need to gain size. I eat an exorbitant amount of food already but will be adding a True Mass shake during the day and another meal at night. Currently my diet is
1. 10 oz ground beef, 2 cups yellow rice
2. 40g Protein shake and a bagel
3. 2 chicken sandwiches and fries
4. 1 personal pizza and a footlong turkey and provolone sub
5. Protein shake and 2 large carrots
6. Protein shake 3 cups protein pasta
7. 10 oz chicken and 1 cup protein pasta
Sometimes depending on work I may replace a shake meal with a Metrx Big 100 bar.
I have somedays where I may miss a meal due to work, but I increase my other portions to make up for it.
Will be using 1g of test (as always)
50mcg a day of IGF as long as I see results
And the regular 4g glucosamine, 4g fish oil, 2g Vit C
Should have the IGF in a couple days and hopefully it makes me hungrier, I'm force feeding myself and sometimes to the point where I get sick!

After reading what has been recommended for others, should I up the dose? Maybe include some insulin? I'm not new to any of this by a long shot and have used other companies IGF up to 80 mcg a day and saw nothing, but I hear great things about MC's. I got good results with insulin, but with all the eating and training and then the post insulin crap I just stopped. But I really need to gain some size and the tendons and joints seem to be the limiting factor.

Sorry dude

I'm still trying to picture what your x-girlfriends look like.

50mcgs is plenty and I am a lot bigger than you are.
Something doesn't add up here- what is your body type?
At 1g of test you should be growing unless your receptors are saturated to hell.
I have been using for 20+ years but I have grown to 2g of test over that time and use that as a base when offseason. I don't know your history so I can really tell what other factors are in play.

Everyone agrees on that. I guess I would be an Ecto-Meso. I've always been lean, but I've also always been strong and muscular. The funny thing is everyone says 1g is enough, but most of the guys I have competed against use well over that amount. My friends that are Pro's are in the area of 3g with GH, IGF, T3, and insulin. Perhaps I can figure out how to post a pic to give you guys a more accurate depiction of my development. I respond very well to nandrolones and test, but due to work, no nandrolones for me. When I made the jump to 1g a week about 2 years ago I slowly started to gain, but stopped again about a year ago. What history would you like to know? I've always been an advocate of using as little as possible to make gains, but now my drugs of choice have to be prescribed or undetectable. I'm also wanting quality lean gains. I've beaten a lot of Superheavy weights that outweigh me by 40lbs and take substantially more drugs. My former room mate being one.

You bring up some very valid points in your post.
It all has to do with frequency and absorption rates and to be honest I know some 3g guys too and it is what they need to keep growing with the addition of things like GH, slin, IGF and the like. It is definitely about tailoring to what works for you. We can generalize a lot of the time, but as you get more experienced, compete, etc you tend to throw that out the window.
I hope you do find the right mix- we can definitely add your experiences to the forums which would be valuable to members that are or could be in the same realm as you are currently.
As far as beating a super- It is all about what the judges are looking for- in your case , maybe the judges were looking for symmetry conditioning and size that was not in the Markus Ruhl arena. In that case the judges got it right. In a lot of shows I have done, they judges were focused on size and as in a lot of shows the supers won the overall even though, in most cases, the conditioning of the heavies, light heavies was far more exceptional than the guy packing on the most size and just when you think you have figured it out they change their minds. I have gone to both ends of the spectrum and as you know its a crap shoot. Is using more going to help me win my class or overall or is using less and really fine tuning my physique the right way?
If we knew that we all would be winners all the time.
Regardless, you know what you are doing and are sensible in your rationale of what or what not to use. Its a great thing that not everyone fits in the same round hole- it is how we all on this board keep learning.
Keep us posted on what you do and thank you for your contributions.

I totally agree on the swaying of the judges, I've also used the strategy of doing my best to avoid side by side comparisons with the superheavies when possible, although its hard when you are side by side in the overalls. My waist is very tiny so I draw as much attention to that as possible. I've been lucky in that most of the time they seem more likely to miss their peak. I'm very curious how this will work out. Upping the test will be my last resort. I'll add in GH and insulin first...

As far as my gear being bunk..... not likely... my source has an MD after his name and my test is human grade made in america :) I get it from the pharmacy

Come on IGF!!! I'm dying with anticipation!!

The IGF has arrived!! Been doing the DC training and its awesome. I'm struggling to eat enough and have added another meal in the middle of the night. I'm up a solid 2 lbs, but the added strength really has my tendons and joints aching. Recovering from the workouts is already noticably harder. First shot today. 50mcg - 25 in each pec. We will see, I'm feeling pretty beat up from 4 weeks of DC!!

Didn't think I'd have something to post so soon. Did my shot and 15 minutes later I went hypo!! Got lightheaded, dizzy, and some forehead sweat. Then very tired. Had a big True Mass shake with a scoop of Syntha 6. It was nice, even got a little pump. I freaked out at first, forgot that I may get that side with IGF!

Yep bro it can happen. Always take the carbs in first. Hypo is scary. I can always tell when my stomach cramps, I get somewhat confused, and shaky, as well as getting numbness in my hands. I guarantee if you take the shake and carbs before application it won't be a problem.

Started doing the carbs before the shot and it is definately better. Its only been 3 days so I won't say that the strength gains I made today are soley from the 3 shots of IGF, but I felt much better physically! No pain, no straining tendons or joints and I was very..... I guess powerful is the best way to put it. I have been making steady strength gains from the DC training, but I felt it wearing on me. Today I just feel good and strong! I even found myself playing with weights that represented personal bests for me. I had to hold back b/c I didn't want to hurt any ancillary tissue. Is it possible to feel like this after only 3 days? My appetite is insatiable too. My G/F is experiencing the same things, but it just a little hard to believe in 3 days I could feel like this.

Unbelievable!

As I stated at the beginning of this post. I started the DC training at the end of last month. I got good strength gains, but was getting some serious joint and tendon pain, that I was going to force me to stop. So I ordered some IGF from The Man.... Presser. Now I am not a placebo guy. On 7/13 I weighed 218lbs at 1634 hours. Today at 1614 hours wearing the same shorts and tanktop I weighed 226 on the same scale!!! I had the manager check the scale and it was true. I have nearly no joint pain at all and I will list just a couple of my strength increases
Incline Barbel +50lbs and 4 reps
Squats +50lbs and 6 reps
Deadlifts +90lbs and 2 reps
Barbel curls +20lbs and 4 reps
Calf sled +60lbs and 8 reps
Go ahead and call B.S..... I would.
I want to thank the members here for helping me with my questions and Presser for being an excellent business man and helping me with my research! This is incredible!
More updates to come!

I'm not sure how many weeks I have left on the DC training before I need a cruise phase, but I've heard 5 weeks for the IGF before you need a break. If that's the case..... about 4 more weeks of DC and I'll take a break but this is exciting!! I've never gained like this... ever!
