Serratus Anterior

Well I think most of us do at least inderectly. Seems the best way to hit this area aside from pullovers and dips is the overhead shoulder presses (barbell). I am not familiar with any isoloation movements though

from exrx.net , the muscle when i was looking up on it , they showed like shoulder raising like lay on a bench and move shoulders forward is one of the ways to exercise the serratus.

But I guess combine the lockout of a benchpress with the shoulder raise towards whatever direction your pushing would greatly involve the serratus.

You don't really need to exercise the serratus on their own--especially if you aren't already a big competitive bodybuilder. Those muscles are trained indirectly through other exercises so most people don't try to exercise them. Hell, most people don't even know they have them.

lol , well ive been wondering around combining a shoulder raise to work them while I benchpress. To add some more direct stimulation while not increasing the amount of exercises.

It will probably lagg my chest and triceps just a bit though , since my arms will have to work harder since a stabilizer is fatigued more.

But just wondering on your opinions of adding in just a shoulder raise towards the bar or dumbell , on the top of my lifts , flat , or incline regardless of movement all types of benching

Why?

a serratus anterior movement is bringing your arms and shoulders out as far as possible.

I could combine a benchpress together with a serratus isolation movement , where at the top the serratus would be stimulated.

Im not going to bother but was just wondering. because big serratus's make you look freaky.

Yes, I know that. My question is: Why do an exercise specifically for them when it isn't necessary? Perhaps it was meant to be a rhetoric question so don't answer that.

Well I sorta just wanted peoples opinions on training the serratus. Like if anybody does train them besides indirectly and if they do or ever have. Do they feel like its been worth doing so.

Pretty much mainly conversational purposes
