It all depends on where you work, and their policies. I've bounced at a few good places and a few not so good places. Titty bars are great, and some mom n pop bars are great... as far as clubs go, it varies from club to club.
I know this is a long post but worth the read!!!
I use to bounce at this Bar in philadelphia called "Who's on Third" I think it was 3rd and lombard, it was one street over from South street I think,lol. Anyways the owners name was Tom Oculligan or some fucking real Irish last name anyways,lol, and he was a DICK to work for and he would love to make his bouncers get into fights, and I mean he LOVED it! He was the owner and the D.J and the dance floor was small and their were signs stating that Men could not be on the dance floor unless they were invited onto the dance floor by a female. So another words any guy who just walked onto the dance floor to start dancing or to dance with a chick was not allowed, so the owner who was up in D.J booth would stop music and call the bouncers over to dancefloor and told us to escort the guys off, and it was a dumb rule and only put into place so the owner could have a reason to start fights and a reason for his bouncers to throw people out!
He was also a RACIST mother fucker and I hated working the door because whomever worked the door had to tell all the black men that their was a dress code, when there was not one and the black guys knew what was going on, and if the black guys were dressed nice and we couldnt use the dress code reason to not let them in, the owner told us to tell them the cover to get in was $100 when it was only $5 or $10 and there were always lines to get into this place and the black men could see the people in front of him being charged only $5 cover and then all the sudden they were being told cover was $100 , pretty fucked up huh!
And the NAACP also sent the owner a letter at his bar about all his racist bullshit getting old (the owner framed this letter and hung it as if he was proud of it), and the NAACP sent their letter after hearing about the Flyers that were being handed out on south street to get people to come to his bar the flyers said "Come to Whos on Third, a Paradise among Beasts" and the flyers said that because on the other side street opposite south street was the Ghetto which was all african american, so basicly the flyers were racist ass fuck and basicly let people know it was an all white joint for the most part even though the ghetto was around the corner, and the owner of the bar sent out the hot waitresses to give out the flyers and they were only aloud to hand flyers to white people! Now how whacked was that.
I quit that shithole twice and he fired me about a dozen times and always hired me back the next day,
I know what ur all thinking How could i have worked at such a racist fucking place, well i was 23 yrs old, needed the extra money which was cash and paid well plus I got laid every single night i worked there. What can I say other then I was.....Young , Dumb, & Full of CUM. lmao
Anyways I have some insane and i mean absolutly INSANE stories about this bar, and the countless bar room brawles we got into, and the countless girls who wanted to fuck the shit out of the young jacked up stud (ME) lmao. I get goose bumps just thinking about it, and feel like i need a shower right now because I was one dirty MOTHERFUCKER WHEN IT CAME TO THE FEMALES THERE. The owner had to pull me aside and ask that I stop fucking all the waitresses because it was causing tension in the work place with me banging them all and them all finding out about each other,lol. AHHH the good ald days.
