Negative feedback and insulin

Okay, we all know that with AAS and most other things we use, they affect the body's feedback system, causing the body to shut down the production of its own hormones.

I've been dealing with hypoglycemia for the last 2 1/2 years now, and it has been progressively been getting worse. Considering the above fact, if I was to use exogenous insulin, it would make my body stop producing so much of its own in theory, correct? I'm wondering if I can propose this to my doctor to see if he would agree. Though I'd be dependent on using insulin like a diabetic (although probably not near as much), I think it would be far more controlled. I think a small amount would keep my body from making too much on its own due to the negative feedback loop.

What do you think?

In theory it sounds pretty close to what i would think. I know next to nothing about the pancreas and insulin so i cant say too much. You have a pretty cool doc though dont you? I say bring it up to him hell what do you got to lose.

I see what you are saying. The one thing I bet he is going to tell you though is that you don't want to make yourself insulin dependent if you don't have to. I understand your logic that your controlling it will be better than the hypo and you may be right, but I suspect that he is going to say that you are going to up your chance of hypo too while trying to adapt to the foreign insulin. Have you took any slin yet? Im just wondering if you will go hypo to an extreme or something. I would definitely make sure someone is around in case something like that happens.

I've used slin twice before in earlier years before ever being hypoglycemic. Had no trouble using it then. I don't think the hypoglycemia is related to my slin usage since I didn't use it heavily. My family has a disposition for whacked out hormones from my Mom's side, so I think it's from that considering I'm also low on natural test.

Well, I'm going to call up my doc and see what he thinks.
