IGF Feedback and Questions

Hi Everyone,

I have been researching this site since October for the necesary info to run a successful IGF-1 cycle. Thank you for all the valuable information.

First some info: 46 years old, 6'1" 218 about 12% BF. I have been training steady for 28 yrs other than having a Rotator Cuff repair 10 yrs ago and
a complete bicep tear 2 yrs ago. I lift 5 days a week and do 1 hour of cardio 5-6 days a week. My diet is pretty damn clean except for a few cheat meals during the weekend. I use whey protien, Noxplode, vitamins, fish oil. I do not use any AAS.

I purchased 3 units of Immense Growth Factor-1, 60mcg, 30mcg bilateraly, post workout. 16 days on 16 days off and just finished the 3 units.

Positive Observations:
1. Increase in strength of 5-10%, have maintained the strength gains
2. No more tendonitis in my elbows or knees
3. solid weight gain of 2-3 lbs
4. soreness in recently pinned areas, especially the lower body. ie quads calves, hamstrings
5. major improvement in symmetry of my biceps post surgery
6. improvment in my sleep pattern, slept great
7. increase in muscle fullness
8. less fatigue after sports, especially in the joints, ie snow skiing;knees

Questions:
1. Did not really notice any loss of body fat or increased vascularity. Boo! Whats up with that?
2. Why does my lower body seem more sensitive to IGF?
3. Why do guys get off IGF prior to a show?
4. Any suggestions of how I can better use IGF is appreciated.

Thanks,

You are the first Ive heard of who didn't lose any body fat. I do know that for me I got some bloat in the stomach area and I suspect that might be why some guys would get off for a show. My arms responded better than my legs so I can't answer that question except with the cliche' that everyone is different. The only suggestion I would give is running it 6 weeks straight. Thats the protocol Ive seen alot.

1. This may have been due the way you ran it. Most run it every day for at least 4-6 weeks. This would give you more of a fat loss pattern akin to running 2iu of HGH every day. Pulsatile bursts are more effective for building muscle than reducing fat.
2. They are larger muscles. Everyone responds differently to IGF.
3. There is usually some bloat associated with IGF use that they want to lose.
4. As JT mentioned, the protocol length running it every day for at least six weeks may be better for you since you seem to respond well to it.

Thank you Saudades, maybe a 6 week run next time. Appreciate the help.

in my opinion yes longer and for me I always seen the best results at week 7 , i know it goes against what has been written about how you get use to it, but ive done it this way again and again and for me i feel my best on it at week 7 and run or have run it for 12 weeks straight with great success

Any update brutha? Just curious how this was progressing
