Dont know if this interests any of you guys. I dont have kids but i really respect what hes trying to do. Ive seen what the schools are feeding the kids and what they fed me. Terrible to call that a well balanced meal. It starts on Friday, i hope he can make a difference, the obesity and health rate are just absolutely out of control even for young people.

At first I thought he said the milks got crack in it. lol

But I wish that was like a whole hour episode cause I enjoyed watching that.

its on for 2 hours tomorrow night on ABC check it out then i know im going to watch it for sure.

i dont think the obesity rate is as high as most say it is. 'obesity' is a term based on your BMI. americans are just getting heavier, but not always fatter. now, the fat are only getting fatter, but no 38% or whatever kids i see are obese fat. and i live in the south.

according to BMI, all of us are fat. and nuk is probably obese if not 'morbidly obese' lol.

Oh yeah i agree with you i dont think 38% of them are morbid, but eating junk like this all day then hopefully eating a good meal with their families doesnt make up for it. I know when my nephew starts in school im telling my sister to make his meals for him or i will and drop them off. Start them off with health early and they will learn to live that way sooner.

all i know is it should be illegal to ban donut sticks from vending machines at school. i lived off those things.

As long they dont switch the foods to lower calorie type meals just healthier BUT STILL CHEAP options , I dont see it changing.

With the the schools basically pushing sports equal or more than the educational system, Athletes need high calories diets. I dont see a majority of the schools going along with lower calories served meals.

Watchin the show right now, not bad I def like what he's doin. My wife made the comment that Jamie didn't look like he was in that good of shape but I guess he doesn't have to be "shredded" to be healthy. The foods he cooks are healthy and they look pretty good.

yeah ive been watching it every week. You definitely dont have to be close to being ripped to be healthy. I admire what hes doing and i think its turning out to be a pretty good show.
