used the lat bar for cable hammer curls? Are the grips spaced a comfortable distance apart to be able to do them. What im looking for if possible with 1 attachment is.

comfort for.

*barbell hammer curls
*barbell preacher curls
*barbell reverse preacher curls
*barbell tricep pushdowns

Should I just go for another attachment and stop being cheap or will this one attachment be good. Ive went just from eyeballing and figure I would get an opinion from somebody who may have tried or has one.

I tried once, and for me it wasn't comfortable, and I didn't feel like I got a good workout with it. I prefer using the rope or leather strap.

Just me being cheap again.... Using the rope... can you do normal curls and reverse curls comfortably? Or does it add too much stress on the wrist having to pronate and supinate the entire movement?

I personally don't feel any additional stress on the wrist. Then again, I have retardedly strong forearms and wrists. But still, I don't feel any extra negative stress.

i like the rope i can hold up my elbows at the top and get a great squeeze almost like a concentration curl

i actually have one of these at my gym.... they are pretty good for pulldowns, and even
better for a different type of wide hammer curl

I love pulldowns because they feel so effortless compared to pullups , I have stayed away from them for a long time though and replaced them with nothing but pullups. Figure its better off for me to do the more complete compound movement. But maybe when I get back to things I will throw pulldowns back in even though its less compound I can use more weight.
