I am feeling the Humilin R fast...

Im using Humilin R now, and I can feel it in less than a min. after I apply it. Is this normal? Or is it just me?

If you are doing it IM in a muscle right after training it can hit you really fast, but it still stays active for a few hours unlike Humalog.
 
Im been using and still using "R". I do it SQ. When I did it my second time today it hit me real hard. I try not to freak out, but boy can I feel it.
 
Yes, that's normal, it does hit you quickly. My diabetic friends are always concerned about getting the right dosage before a meal because obviously if they miscalculate and give themselves too much, their blood sugar will crash, and they always inject right before they eat. It can be worrisome if they aren't able to get to eat immediately after because they take far more on average than a bb'er does. One guy I know has taken 40 units at one time.
 
yeah it can hit ya pretty fast...Hum R doesnt really for me.. but I guess I have always been use to it...but if I dont eat enough carbs, with it...I will really feel it an hour later...and its not fun....
