Well they have been running the top 100 players of all time on the NFL network for sometime now, and well they finaly announced the top 10 players of all time and #1 was Jerry Rice.

Personaly I thought it would have been Joe Montana but it was Jerry Rice and I am not sure I agree with it.

They also had Peyton manning listed at #8 which in unreal consodering the guy has only won 1 superbowl where as Tom Brady won what , 3 i believe, not to mention Elway

anyways just wanted to see who else seen or followed this top 100 and see what they thought about the top 10 listed of all time, and this wasnt position by position it was any position and just overall best player of all time

Fuck I again agree with everything you're saying. What's the hell is going on?

What I like about Jerry Rice.....from a small school (typical that "big time" coaches didn't recruit him...prob did have a "fast enough 40" or something stupid). His work ethic was incredible. He would train at Stanford and guys that went there to train with him said it was insane. He wasn't a mouth (no TO, Moss Syndrome) and he was legit! Leading receiver for a lot of years, had awesome hands ran great routes. I think it's hard to say who's #1 over all of all time but as far as WRs go I'd say it was him. I'll have to watch that countdown that looks interesting!

Jerry Rice was a standout player, no doubt. But greatest NFL player of all time.....I dunno. That's a hard pick, but I'd say there are at least a few that I'd put above him.
