Moving up in the company...

I work for UPS and this is the best time of the year, haha, that was a fucking joke. Anyway, after years of working the pre-load shift which is when the packages come in and get loaded into the trucks, I'm finally moving up to a part-time driver. The pay raise is quite substantial, but it'll be nice just being able to work outside of a building for a change. I had to jump through hoops today to get everything squared away to go to driving school next week, but it's all good now.

That's awesome man. I have a buddy that works for UPS as a driver and he does very well.

The pay jump is quite significant now. I started out at $8.50 an hour, then went to $9.50 after making the union then got my $.50 or so raise every 6 months and jumped to $18 something an hour and full time drivers make $29.99 an hour right now until their raise in February. It's crazy to think how much money that really is, but hopefully before too long I will know exactly how much it is lol
