Do you remember back when you were a little kid (for guys over 30 years old) when TV actually went off. I was telling my wife about it and she couldnt believe it. All you would see was the american flag waving after 11 or 12 at night. In a way I wish I could re-live those days.

Haha i remember that in Aus... A voice over would say this will be the last tele broadcast and then go to static or those colored bands.

i was just thinking about that the other day when i was watching poltergiest.. pretty creepy when you think about it

it still happens, only now its infomercials.
200 channels and not a god damn thing on after 2am. i dont even get home til 11pm

best days of my life. not a care in the world. but seriously, I think i remeber this but i musta been LITTLE, just a few years old. But then again i remember black and white TV's, i doubt if anyone on this board remebers dreaming in black and white.

Yeah I remember that. The tv stations played the National Anthem with the flag waving.
