Is there any grill masters here?

Eat'n Big

This time of the year has rolled around for some, in my area grilling for most of seasonal, others in different areas like the South are lucky enough.

Anyone here own the grill at the BBQ's? I'm going on my 5th year at really mastering the fine art, for 5 years in, I'm not to shabby!

Anyone have stone/brick grills? post some pics of you do.

I can cook like a champ but can't grill foe crap. Any tips?

That's how I am, I can cook/bake/fry anything, but grilling is not me. I'm not big of grilling simply because I don't like the charcoal/charbroiled taste. If there's any black spots on my food from grill lines, I can't eat it until it's cut off, just a personal thing I guess

Yea, a friend of mine has a pit and takes it to the tailgates for football, makes killer ribs or whatever else you wanna throw in it. You can't beat that, but it was expensive, can't remember how much, but he certainly paid a pretty penny for it, but he's a doc so he's got the money

I seen these, they are like the smokers, I want one so bad. I was born and raised on grills, my father had a brick stove in the yard, then later on a grill. I never took on his trait, but now I am searching back and trying to pick up where he left off.

one tip guys.. Never flip your burgers. ever!

no joke.. when you make your burger fresh, make a vally, a hole in the center about 1/4 inch deep, and about 1 1/2 wide, this way it fills up with the juices when its cooking.. let cook, and do not flip, the juices will fill this an allow it to cook more with-out bloating and staying at a good size.. plus, it rids some of the fats
