I love the Pirates and Red Sox and both teams suck a big one. The Pirates haven't been good since 1993, but that's besides the point. They came close to making it to .500 last year and fell short, but I thought this year could be the end of the curse, but not after this start.

And the BoSox, I don't know what happened other than some inuries and then the loss of Tito and Terry really hurt and that's showing big time right now.

I like Bobby V, but he's no Francoina that's for sure. I don't know what's going to happen when Crawford, Ellsbury, Miller and Dice K come back, but it can't be as bad as this shit

I know this isn't gna make me a popular guy but I really dnt like baseball. Going to a game is cool, watchn a game on tv is like wathing flies fck!!!!! Anyhow, GO CARDS:finger:

I wouldn't worry about the sox buddy. That is a tough division do no one is going to run away with it, besides didn't they start off REALLY bad last year and came back to make a run at the end if the year? Pirates have NO $$ to spend so theres no way they will compete for a while. Hang with Boston a little while longer and give booby V a few more weeks.

I love baseball! I'm watching whatever game is on everynight on MLB network and I love it.

I know what you mean, but I would say they had a total meltdown last year at the end rather than making a run. They did start off slow like they have again this year then were in the driver's seat for the qild card until collapsing in September

Oh and yes you're also right about Pittsburgh not having money, but shit look at what the A's have done with their money, they're still competing yet in the bottom half of the market

It surprises me that teams like Pittsburgh and Kansas City can't build any star players from the draft. Look how strong Milwaukee and Tampa Bay have gotten from home grown talent.

It's not that we don't develop good players from the draft, but Pittsburgh has a habit of letting the talent go because they don't want to shell out the money to keep them (Nady, Jason Bay, Ryan Doumit, Jack Wilson....). I think them signing McCutcheon to a longer contract and getting Burnett may be a sign of things to come though. I think after the amount of sellouts we had last year they finally saw that the fans are still there, they just need a team to keep the fans coming. We'll see though

And a payroll is nice, but you still need a good team not just a bunch of good players, look at Boston this year (7-10) and they didn't even make the playoffs last year. Year in and year out they are in the top 5 in payroll and yet they can't make the playoffs? That's crazy
