Lactose intolerance question

My gut is bloated and I think I have become lactose intolerant.. Now is the possible or are you that way from birth? I'm gonna stop all dairy for a bit but now what's my protein drink gonna be? Any advice ?

It can be from birth or it can develop. The solution is raw milk. Lactose intolerance is due to lack of the enzyme lactase which digests milk sugar (lactose). Raw milk contains the enzyme lactase so it is 'self digesting'.

A CAMPAIGN FOR REAL (RAW) MILK! will help you locate raw milk in your area. I have been drinking it for almost a year and will never drink any other milk again. There are numerous health benefits, if you are interested I can go into that too.

Raw milk is straight from the cow to you. No pasteurization, no homogenization. Just real milk, the way God intended it. A healthy cow will produce healthy milk, it does not need to be pasteurized. Pasteurization was created because in the early 1900's distillery dairies fed cows the leftover mash after making whiskey and they got sick, had mastitis, and produced milk that made people sick. Healthy cow=healthy milk. Don't be fooled by the FDA. Raw milk is safe.

Yes, the cream will separate and rise to the top. You have to shake it periodically to mix it back up before you drink it. I get mine through a co-op that delivers every other week. It comes from a farm out of state, but that's how important it is to me to have raw milk.

I hear ya bro.. I found a spot that delivers certain days . Does it keep like normal milk or since its so fresh it can turn quick? Lol.appreciate your help btw ..just curious size of bottles I should buy and can you scoop cream off and toss or that's the good stuff ??

That would suck if you have developed it, it'd change a whole lifestyle, but there's always a way around everything. Luckily it's not an uncommon problem to have so you shouldn't have a hard time working around it, but it'll be a nuisance for the first few months

Keep the cream it's full of good stuff. It's will keep just as long as conventional milk. I've had some 3 weeks that was still good. And it doesn't sour like conventional milk, it just turns to buttermilk. So if you have some that doesn't taste good to drink, use it to make some buttermilk biscuits or pancakes.

Just drank some raw milk post workout, and just wanted to reiterate how good this stuff is. No other milk compares, I'm telling you, if you haven't tried it you are seriously missing out.

I pay $8.50 a gallon, that's about average. 1lb or raw butter is $10, 1/2 gallon of raw cream is $10. It may seem expensive, but it is worth every penny. Not only is it worth it but I have no problem supporting the farmer who provides this wonderful milk. Farmers who sell milk to dairies for pasteurization get pennies on the dollar. Every cent I pay goes to the farmer, I like that.

Awesome deal, how long does that milk stay fresh? I know organic milk stays fresh longer than Vitamin D milk and the other stuff, but have never looked into this stuff

I get deliveries every other week and I usually don't have any left over. I've never had any not stay good for the two weeks. I've had some for almost three weeks that was still good. It doesn't spoil either, just turns to buttermilk. Instead of a sweet taste it just taste like buttermilk, some people like it. If that happens I just use it to cook with.

That's awesome, I'm going to have to find a local farmer around here because that's just one more thing I'd like to pick up if I can. I'd love to get some fresh meat, eggs and milk on a regular basis
