My Calf Melted! Literally!

I really fucked up this time,lol. Im such a fucking moron that words cant describe it!

Didnt think that my buddys Harley was still hot and leaned my calf against the chrome exhaust pipe and my skin melted, and i mean melted!!!!

It happened a week ago today and did not even hurt, it didnt hurt for about 3-4 days i guess cause it was such a bad burn it was numb and dead

anyhow it hurts like hell now a week later and leaking puss but seems to be healing ok i think. The pics are maybe 2-3 days after
 
Oh and it had a nice cover of skin over it , helping it heal, but after a shower i was drying my body and forgot about it and wiped away most of the skin that was covering it, as u can see some of the skin still left and see where it left off at.

So thats how dead and numb it was, i didnt even feel it to the point i forgot about it and wiped the skin away while drying with a towel
 
Have you seen the movie Dumb and Dumber.. Lol.. When I was 10 I grabbed my friends pipe rite off the cylinder head of his new Honda 75 with my hand.. It sure was perdy.. Lol..

well it was a first for me and i have no idea what to do for it other then just let it scab up and heal i guess. Anyone know of anything special ur suppose to do with burns like this

I used to have some stuff in a can that was called "artificial skin" or something like that. It was sheets of gel that you put over Burns like that. I remember it said on the container "made from 98% water" I will see if I can find it and send you a link to it. Great for bad Burns and bad blisters.

cool thnx bro, i havent put anything at all on it, i was going to put neosporin on it , then i was told by the pharmacist that you dont put anything on bad burns like this, so i just have it airing out and hopefully drying out
 
Dont think you want to let it dry out.. I'd say aloe Vera or some non perfumed antibacterial lotion and keep it covered with gauze..
 
For cuts (not burns as I've never had this happen), I always used Nu-Skin. It was in a glass vial with a brush similar to nail polish and you just brushed it on over the wound and it created like a layer of skin over the wound to keep dirt and such out. It always worked for me, but I used it typically for cuts or blisters. Like when I was playing baseball and would get a scrap from sliding or burn from astro turf I'd use this stuff and it helped. I'd say something like that or just keeping some gauze over it would help

thnx and yeah i gauzed it last night and this morning when i took the gauze off it was disgusting and all wet, i should have left it airing out i think, and today im going to buy somehting to put on it , atleast maybe some neosporin
 
Without a script silvadene is the best youre gunna do bro. It's feels great when u put it so cooling and soothing. Good luck bro I hope it heels quickly.
