Olympics. Womens 100m run off Cancelled

Not sure who all is following the Olympic trials, but there was suppose to be a run off for the womens 100m to determin 3rd place as there was a tie and to see who would run this event in the Olympics

Anyhow one of the girls dropped out of the run off and I think it would have done wonders for her carreeer and for Sponsorships, this is all they talked about, "the run off" and she bailed on it, she was originaly told she won and did her victory lap. then when a reporter got to her the reporter asked how she felt about her tieing for 3rd place, which shocked her apparently.

but to my point, i think it was extremely weak to bail out of the run off!

Did you see the shoulders on her !!! Those chicks are meaty.. She screwed herself for not rerunning but she also could be hiding something and the timing for a performance enhancer would be off ..And I got nothin wrong with them.. Lol..

Never thought about it that way, but yeah she should have run no matter what

also in todays technological world , i find it hard to believe we couldnt have found a winner even if it was by one/one millionth of a second! Their shouldnt be any ties as someone crossed first when you get right down to it

Yeah that baffles me too.. And maybe why she didn't run also.. Maybe her coach knew something public didn't cause no way is tie possible.. I jst saw the one photo..something crossed first and wasn't in that photo..

Fuuuck, I was hyped for that too. Bad move IMO, but oh well.

yeah I was really looking forward to the race.

Weren't they training partners? It'd be hard to beat out a close friend on something like this if that's the case.

By the way, I wasn't wanting a run off, I wanted them to run individually and hide the times until they both ran that way you could see what their times were and no bullshit ties this time
