i found a score sheet on the web and it had A jennifer Kennedy in 1st place for heavies, I do not know her last name. However I am a thinkin its her.

Jenn won her class(Heavyweight) but did not earn a pro card, as they only gave out 2 in the overall. Bad luck right there.

I dont understand this. How do they select for pro cards. I thought if you won your division you were granted the pro card. Is it just up to the judges discretion?

I think it is pre determined ahead of time what classes will get how many pro cards. Bikini and figure got a handful.

Nationals every weight class gets a pro card but at USA's women only get two pro cards. It was like that for the men til this year and they switched it to each weight class. I don't think a HW has ever won their class and not gotten their pro card at the USA's, men or women!! Definitely "strange"

I think its a bunch of crap. They didnt give the pro card to the light heavy either who won the overall. They gave it to some older hag type that won the masters, it ain't right.

Just to let you all know Jenn came in totally dialed in GENEx has the best pictures. Not to be a poor sport but she definately deserved the overall. She even kept her peak for 2 days! People even booed at the show. My wife is devastated, to get into that condition almost put her in the hospital but thank God for great trainers. Whats next who knows?

It's a politcal sport, that's the worst part about bodybuilding. It's not a matter of who looks the best, it's whoever the judges like (or who they know). That's the one thing I've always hated about the sport. It's always a debatable outcome

I was there and she DEFINITELY should've taken the overall! She got screwed....to put it plainly. It was horrible to watch them hand out nearly 20 pc's to bikini, figure, womens and men's physique after seeing only two awarded in womens BB. My wife and I honestly wanted to leave after her class was judged, and they were first on stage.

i know very little about BB shows and competition but there is no doubt in my mind she is a PRO. it was a great experience for me to be able to read her log and see the effort she put in.

It's very political, it's not always as obvious as it looks because you never know what the judges are looking for

Yes....we were sitting there pretty much stunned that she didnt get her pc!!!

I dont get it either!! But, bless her heart...I know she was devastated!! But...I'm sure she will rebound and keep moving forward trying to reach her goal!! We were super proud of her!!! Way to go Jenn!!
