Today's my first race since I changed my training up 8 weeks ago (I think). It's a run 2 mile bike 10 mile run 2mile. Course is flat and pretty fast so hopefully I can finish in under 60min but it will be close! Looking forward to it. I'll let yah know how it goes.

That's crazy bro. Good luck! I can't run and theres no way I could do all of that regardless of time.

Yeah no kidding ,, my knees hurt Thinkin about running that far.. Post some pics if you got. That's awesome brutha!!

Thx guys. Great experience, learned a lot & motivated to train hard this fall and winter for the spring races. I won my division with a time of 1:03 which is about what expected. I want to get that time down in Themis 50s by the spring. My wife took some good pics so I'll post them later today. Thx again!

I think you faked em like the moon landing! Lol just kidding , no idea how u can do that!!! I wish I had stamina like that.

What are your stats bro? I'm thinking about taking a break and getting into real shape so that I can do things like that. I'm 5'9 and about 250lbs now. I think I'd need to get down to 215 or so. I think I'd need to run 1 1/2 miles in 9 minutes or something like that

I was 233lbs that morning. My first two miles was in 14:30 and my 2nd 2 mile after the 10 mile ride was in 16:30. If you start off running start with half a mile or something every other day for a week or do then increase it. Also try to find grass to run on, it will help ur knees a lot!

Whoa!! That's insane for 2 miles Bro!!! I'm extremely impressed!!! How tall are you? I'm really wanting to try some new things and I have set some goals. I'm trying to be realistic about it, but it would be a life changer for me and something that I would be proud of for the rest of my life. I'll send you a PM so I don't take over your thread. Needless to say I'm extremely impressed.

I'm 5'11, I have loved it so far and looking forward to the next year of training to see how fast I can become! Shoot me a pm bro I'd be glad to share what all I'm doing.
