Well i seen one of the worse injurys Ive ever seen , Sout Carolins rb Marcus Lattimore had his leg snap in half and if it werent for the skin it would have broke clean off, worse shit ive seen in a long long time, it snapped in half then dangled back and forth only held together by skin on his shin area

very very sad for this kid, i pray for him

I heard about it, but haven't seen it. That'd make me sick to see though, I hope I don't accidently see this on sportscenter or something

I just read that he hyperextended his knee and injured several ligaments, but there were no fractures or additional injuries which is shocking after seeing that. I also heard last night that they had to re-set his knee shortly after carting him off the field

well i just pray it doesnt ruin his NFL payday, he did have NFL potential for sure but after that kind of injury im just not sure, they said it would have been way better had he broke the bones rather then blow out the knee, which makes perfect sense

Yea, I agree with you. The good thing for him is that he still has a red shirt eligibility if he needs it so he can prove he's back after next year.

i didnt know that! That is great news for him then! Have you heard anything about the injury? I havent heard much so im just curious how bad it really is or isnt

Hyperextended knee is all that I heard, not sure if any ligaments were torn or anything of that nature

no way, theres absolutly no way he didnt tare everything in his knee, i mean it was bent in half the wrong way

I just read some more on the injury and they're still not saying anything other than severe ligament damage.

"The message he gave me was, 'I'll be back,'" South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said. "So he's coming back."

When is unknown right now, but you better believe that Lattimore will fight like hell to get back as soon as he can. His knee dislocation and the severe ligament damage could cost him the 2013 season, but he'd be able to redshirt that season and return for 2014. We'll likely know more after he undergoes surgery.
