has anyone been keeping up on this? what a joke...

this whole thing is just another scam to raise the taxes on the middle class-if it was such a big deal then an answer would have been resolved right away

this whole thing is just away to screw us over again:greedy:

basically a way to give the rich their tax break again

It's more interesting to me to see the indifference expressed by the masses with the monumental atrocities that we are seeing more and more of.

we should stop giving money to countries that hate us...especially when they'll hate us for free...

Our tax dollars are used to fund the personal agenda of our corrupt government officials which of course contradict principles this country was founded on

I cant even discuss economical and political issues anymore. All it does is stress me out. I know i can survive when the system collapses on itself. Bring it on

lol, I feel ya brutha, i get burnt up reading some peoples political views, lol.

I also just seen the President rejected the latest proposal because it still cut taxes for the rich, so he rather the middle class have to pay an extra $2500 this year rather then let the rich get a tax cut!

I could give a fuck less if the rich get a tax break, if it keeps my taxes from going up then i say who gives a shit if it benefits the rich also! This guy is stuck on stupid

If we lose $2500 on our tax return this year I don't know what I'll do. Things are getting so crazy that I find myself spending more and more time learning about homesteading. I can make my own biodiesel, grow food, and hunt game, reload ammo... It's just getting out of control. I don't know how people with credit card debt do it. With the way things are now you have families making 120k a year and still scraping by and driving older used vehicles and renting.

Bro Amen to this! My wife and I do what I use to think was making very good money combined. Try living in New Jersey bro! My money alone would be more then enough to live well in a state like Florida or someplace with lower cost of living but in Jersey its fucking nuts what we pay for shit!

Ive tryed talking her into moving to Florida but she is tenure and we would lose our Health Insurance, which is extremely important! But when I was a kid I thought for sure i would be living the high life with the kind of money we make, and truth is our money doesnt go very far at all!

I feel bad for people making 35k$ a year, that use to be a good middle class income, and it simply isnt anymore! not even if two people are making 35K$ for a combined 70k$.

People Income isnt matching the rate of Inflation, it just doesnt make sense at all!

it makes perfect sense, the average person gets a 2.5-3% cost of living raise every year, however, the rate of inflation is 5%

that's 2.5% your losing to invisible taxes every year in 10 years that 25% of your check, in 20 years that's HALF YOUR CHECK

think about what you were doing 20 years ago-I was smoking a joint playing the guitar and people were paying 85 cents for a gallon of gas

That is going to pay in dividends brother. Can't stress enough how much education matters and what a perfect field to be in for her.

I'll just put it this way; Obama care is going to screw us when it goes into full effect but to what extent we don't know. This war on the middle class bullshit is getting fucking old. Laymens term, rich men pay middle class salaries and salaries pay my ass to go buy a tv, take a loan from my bank and so-on and so-forth. If you don't get a tax refund be happy, that means you didn't get hosed all year long. I've paid more than $5k in taxs a year for the past 3 years.....meaning I actually write a check each October for that amount.

You want to blame someone, blame special interests groups and overreaching government sanctions. You think any manufacturer isn't going to pass the cost down to the consumer from whatever tax gets implied to them or should they just be nice guys and eat it. The business system is corrupt, not our country. Our country was made to succeed and fail and in the end if you fail you were always able to brush yourself off and start over. Now it's being set up to fail and wait for a hand out and no incentive to prosper without being pointed out as the devil.

the way Obama care is set up is to put small business out of business, that way the big business can absorb the smaller ones (just like the banks have been doing for the past 5 years)

more work more money for them-they're all in bed together

I am really embarrassed by this, but its something that I have to accept. I have severe anxiety problems. When I found out I couldn't take money from my 403B and I had to come up with 6K in two weeks I threw up. I can't look too closely into our finances as I get infuriated and enraged and make poor choices. Silk has been an angel in that respect. She handles all of the finances and is a budget guru. We do alright; but only because our budget is so well managed. We don't go out to eat, movies, or alot of things people do. We buy food on sale as well as clothes and everything else.
It's really fucked up though as together we make a very good income. With healthcare, pension, savings, insurance, Dr's visits, etc things are tight. At some point I'm going to see what our cost of living through working as indentured servants is vs. us relying on ourselves in Tenessee and not having to pay such exorbitant taxes if we can provide enough food through hunting and fishing and growing things. I can also make biodiesel for next to nothing as opposed to $4 a gallon for diesel that I still have to add additives to to replace the lost sulfur that the hippies demanded be done...

I agree, Obama Care is going to bury a lot of small business and larger ones will have to do a lot of restructuring or of course pass the cost down to guess who, you and I. I love business and one day I'll get a hair up my ass and venture out or invest in a small business.

It's not just you that feels sick to their stomach bro, we all feel that shit. What keeps me sane is that there are people like you and everyone on here that have struggles.

oh this is awesome, fuckers can't come to an agreement so NOW they are being threatened that they might have to work over the holidays to resolve this...

so during the holidays people are traveling and spending time with family etc.

not watching the news to see which piggy back bill will be tacked on to the fiscal korn hole bill

and of course give each one of them half a mill for they're hard work

BTW I heard today that they are kicking around the idea of making the Bush tax cut bill...permanent-forever, never go out of style
