so if I had a bayonet on a gun (not the sling swivel of course) but if I had one on my gun I could use it as a spear??? I could throw it at wild game???

In Oz they took away everyones automatic guns .. said they kill people to easily... Im not sure if they allow hand guns
Now they are trying to ban people from keeping their guns at home .. they want all guns to be kept in the one place and when you need your gun you must go through a process to retreive it.

I did hear about quite a few sheriffs writing letters to the white house stating that they would NOT enforce any sort of "gun ban" laws in there jurisdiction. You've got to love that!

they've talked about that here in the US...keeping your hunting rifles at your local sheriff's office until a week before the season opens

I can say in all honesty that should they pass any ban like that, that I will become a criminal. The whole point of the Second Amendment is so that we can protect ourselves from a tyrannical government. It has nothing to do with hunting. It sickens me that so many people are so stupid. We have people that don't know the parts of a weapon trying to ban them! I'm going to ban astro physics. It's just too dangerous
