PRETORIA, South Africa (AP) -- Police say they found two boxes of testosterone and needles in the bedroom of Oscar Pistorius, the Olympian who has been charged with murder in the shooting of his girlfriend.

Detective Hilton Botha made the revelation Wednesday in testimony at the bail hearing for the athlete charged with premeditated murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

The discovery raises the possibility that the double-amputee Olympian and Paralympian might have been using performance-enhancing substances.
Pistorius became the first Paralympian runner to compete at the Olympic Games in London last year.

Pistorius, 26, has insisted he shot the 29-year-old Steenkamp by mistake, fearing there was an intruder in his gated and guarded luxury complex in the capital, Pretoria.

Also they have shown now that the prosecution exaggerated a witnesses claims...

Two of the witnesses, who gave statements and word for word accounts of Oscar arguing with his GF for an hour prior to the shooting, upon being cross examined, admitted and were shown to be in excess of 1,000feet from the residence at the time of their witness accounts.

So 1/5th of a mile away,but yet they were able to give the prosecution word for word accounts??

The prosecution case is getting weaker and weaker by the minute...

Also Oscar stated that he didn't think that his wife was in the bathroom because she had previously been in the bathroom shortly before the shooting to use it.

The defense argued she was in their hiding from him...

When the autopsy concluded, it showed that her bladder was empty..this further strengthens Pistorius's account of events...and makes the Prosecution look foolish....

This case gives me that OJ/Nicole Brown feeling all over again...police planting evidence, prosecution grossly exaggerating our outright lying to get a conviction...Fast forward 20+ years and minus the Slow motion Pursuit of a White Bronco.

i dont doubt he knew it was her. . but most probably he realised she was with him because he was loaded with cash, found out she was screwing another guy so after a night of dwelling and drinking he decided to shoot her.

Happens all the time.

But because this story is in the media, they must sell it the best they can.. let it roll for days on end. Build up public anticipation make $$$$ off it!

at 1st i thought he did it o purpose but i am not thinking that anymore.

then they say he was arrested for domestic violence before, yet he wasnt charged and ended up suing the accuser.

yea you got a point there,

but i wont be yelling i have a gun i will sneek up and shoot the MF'er, why yell and get shot at if they might have a gun.

yeah i can see your logic there..im not used to this whole gun thing and hell i would never want to kill any one any how..so for me i would yell shout any bloody thing..if it came to it..im not saying im a pussy i will go toe to toe..but there if a fight then there is murder..if u got a gun u got to use it..but like i said im just philosophizing..i dont know shit about guns and im not afraid to say it..(i would be the **** that shot me self) lol..

One of the first things you should learn when defending yourself in your home with a firearm is that you're responsibly for every round you fire. Meaning you have to be careful and aware of what's in the background when you fire on an intruder. The next thing you learn is threat identification. You can't just fire rounds at a closed door without knowing who or what's behind it regardless of weather or not you think there's an ax murderer behind it. He obviously didn't follow these basic rules. I still don't know what to make of this mess, what I do know is that she's dead and it's beacuse of his irresponsible actions.
