Polynesian tattoos

Do we have any Hawaiian, Samoans around here? The reason I ask is because I've been thinking of getting s half sleeve tattoo and love the Polynesian style tattoos, but wasn't sure if they all had meanings. I think every little symbol means something, but I'm not certain so I want to make sure before I get something tattooed that has a meaning and I have no idea what that meaning is. The designs are cool, but if they ethnic meanings then I'm not going to get one since I'm not that ethnicity and don't want to disrespect that culture by getting something that simply looks cool to me

Ive been wanting a tatt for awhile now, but have no idea what I would get. Thought about doing my sons name or his foot and hand print from when he was born

You never have enuff tattoos.

Never have enough, but I can't have them showing at work so a half sleeve is all I can go with and would have to stop at the knee cap

Half sleeves is wat I'm working on myself.

Yea, I can wear shorts and short sleeves so I've either got to cover them up or just not get them from the elbows down. I've got some tats on my arms already so I'm working on stuff to finish a sleeve and work around what I've already got. It's becoming tricky

Same hear I have four on my right arm and working half sleeve.
