Testosterone gone bad?

this may be a dumb question, but can a bottle of test go bad? it seems like ever since i got this new bottle of testosterone cyp i have had a mild case of body aches. I only take 140mg a week and have been using this same bottle for about 2 months or so. I got it from the pharmacy and i store it in room temp. ive just felt off for awhile. a few weeks ago i switched from tamoxifen to arimidex, but syptoms were really similar, so i dont think its that. thanks for all the info.

sure it can have bacteria in it making you sick, but in terms of it gone bad potency wise, testosterone usually last a long time and far past the expiration date, but thats potency, your talking about feeling aches and stuff, so maybe it has bacteria in it, have u tried heating it and then see where your at after a shot or two?
 
tks presser. I have not tried heating it. I only have enough for one more dose anyways so i was thinking bout not taking it and using just the new bottle. im such a rookie at all this stuff, is there a good way to prevent bacteria from getting in the bottle? i pretty much just wash my hands before, then un wrap the pins and apply. Am i missing a preventative step? I feel soo much better on trt, but these body aches are sooo anoying. I feel like it has to be the bottle of test thats making me feel this way, ive tried switching around so many other things, this is the only one that i have not switched. tks
 
Are you wiping the top of the vial with an alcohol pad? Every time, wipe it with alcohol and try not to let air get sucked back into the vial, meaning if your drawing out 2cc of oil put in 2cc of air before you draw, or even 3cc, to give a little back pressure. Those are little things that help keep out bacteria, if it's bacteria at all, sometimes an AI makes me feel I'll if I take too much.
 
tks monkey. I have not been wiping the top, i will from now on. i also dropped my dose of arimidex today also just in case its been too much. i was taking 1mg every third day. now im going to do .5mg every other day. tks for all the help everybody.

its not joint ache, just overall slight body aches like im getting the flu, but it never gets to that level. it comes and goes. so like a few days its worse than others, than a few days its not that bad and seems to be going away. but since its been this way for months is the reason why i think its not just random stuff and must be the test or arimidex.

I've had the same thing myself before. Make sure you always clean with the alcohol wipes. I always attributed it to reacting to the test, but now that I think about it, it may have been bacteria. There have been quality issues with human grade test before. I'd heat it like Presser mentioned.
 
I would get the new bottle and like said above make sure you wipe the top with an alcohol pad 1st and then you can eliminate that at least from your reasons of not feeling so well, but the test in general should last a few years I would say.
 
I heat the oven to like 185 and place a needle in the top to relieve pressure. Place in the oven for about 20 min or so. let it cool with vent in then remove the vent needle. wipe with alcohol and draw it up....;)
 
I would suggest that you run the remaining test through a .22 micron syringe filter, but heating it may work.

Eewww... Just read your whole post. Sounds to me like a bad batch. I occasionally got that from some UG sources when they went too heavy on solvents or alcohol. No real way around it. Being the retard I am, I still used it and planned for the flu like symptoms.
 
With it being human pharm grade as I mentioned, there have been quality issues, so it could be the solvents/benzyl alcohol that is causing the reaction. Heating it should still help if that's the case I believe.
 
Heating it in the oven with a vent in it will allow the extra BA content to evaporate some. And thus reducing some of the problems if not all of them. Depending on what is wrong with the batch or individual vial.
I have several Cyp vials at the moment that are completely crashed out of solution. I believe its a little overdosed. Almost completely re-crystalized. So, I heat em up as I said earlier. Usually with no problem, but I do get some PIP from time to time with those no matter what I do. But I've got like 10 vials and I aint lettin em go to waste...;)

I have done the same, lol. I have had it happen with one of 5 10ml vials, so I know it was just a bad vial. After a couple shots
and feeling like crap I just dumped it and opened next one with no problem, Think it has happened twice to me.
 
I really don't think he needs a 1 mg of adex a week for 140mg of test a week.
.25mg every 4 days should be plenty.
Not enough estrogen will make you feel like ass as well.
