My freaking elbows are still killing me, my weight has went from 216lbs to 206lbs and its not bad doesn't look like ive lost muscle mostly water weight. I def am going to try to hit the gym today and see how the elbow holds up. I want to start a new cycle but don't want to start if im not going to be able to perform you know.

Sometimes even with joint pain you have to train at least lightly because the motion helps increase circulation to the area and helps to lubricate the joints. For example, if I don't work legs for a week, my knees start to ache. Only after I train, even if it's lightly, does the pain diminish.

Well just talked to my Dr. and he says to try 2 alieve twice a day for a week and also to take chondroitin sulfate with glucosamine and bioastin. He says I have whats called golfers elbow which hurts on the inside of the elbow not like tennis elbow which hurts on the outside. He says it actually comes from your wrist flexing downward and recommended a carpel tunel brace for a week to keep my wrist neutral. So with that being said I may just try this and take off another week.

He also said that lifting was a no no, great. He said if it doesn't get better in a week he wants me to come in and see him.

I think the best thing is to rest, I have had aches and pains and even skipped arms for a month before and it helped majorly

around day 60-90 is when the physique will show losses...good luck getting back and hope it works out for you this time

Same here but it's my wrist and elbow....I put the blame on DMZ for the pain and dried out joints.....just a thought

FASTEST WAY TO TEAR UP YOUR ELBOWS!!!

I had the same thing ,hurt for over a year, got a cortisone injection no pain now a year later, go see an ortho , glucosamine is a joke

what are ya gonna workout your first day back?
His mouth!! Lol, JK bro, that sucks, pain and time away from the gym, those things take time, and maybe a cortisone shot would help, but that's really only if it's giving you pain even when applying light use, hope it gets better soon,

Man, I have to agree. I have some serious neck and shoulder pain regardless whether I workout or not. BUT, the longer I go doing nothing, the more I hurt. If I actually do a little something, I feel the pain diminished. Even if its just the motion of the workout without any weight. At first, I thought it was just psycho/symatic, but I believe its the motions that lubricate the joints.
Get the blood flowing so to speak. And, what about running the IGF near that elbow?? As soon as I can get some, I plan on running it close to my bi-cep tendons as well as in my traps to try and get some repair going to my neck as well...

Any of yall have any thoughts on this?????????

I agree about the DMZ. It made me a lot stronger.. But it dried my joints out. But not as bad as whining ever did tho.

Yep fuck DMZ and I have 2 packs left. Def not going to use them tho. I don't do many skull crushes either. Im putting all the blame on DMZ too. My strength was nuts but not worth the pain in the end. I was trying to avoid a cortisone shot.
